Action and emotions during the Live-Modding-Challenge
The change of the location from Cologe to Leipzig makes the Live-Modding-Challenge even more exciting. All teams have three days, to make a „normal“ case unique. At the first two days they have 7,5 hours each day and 5 hours break at all from 10pm to 8am. At the last day it is possible to work at their piece of art for 4 hours.
Arrival and departure incl. Sleepover for Live-Modding teams is possible on Thursday or Monday. Their already done cases for all other categories will have an special place at the DCMM.

Casemodding – hardware turns into artwork
Creative modifications turn customary hardware into true artworks. At DCMM young talents and experienced professionals get the chance to present their creations to the visitors of gamescom. The shown exhibits will be judged by a jury consisting of authorised experts in five different categories: CaseMod (Case Modification), CaseCon (Case Construction), CE-Mod (Consumer Electronics) and Cases on the Move (Mods containing autonomously moving features). On each of the first three days of gamescom the teams of the Livemodding Challenge will have up to 24 hours to create a casemod out of standard bulk goods right in front of a curious audience, critically watched by the judges.
Interesed modders can now register online for a participation at DCMM.
